The Redondo Beach Art Group (RBAG) is dedicated to promoting the Arts, Art Education and Public Art in the South Bay. RBAG Is looking forward to establishing a Creative Arts Center in Redondo Beach -- a cultural center which will enhance the lives of South Bay residents, visitors, and businesses. The Group is a non-profit organization and welcomes tax deductible donations towards the Creative Arts Center. Membership in RBAG is open to all artists and art enthusiasts.
RBAG was founded in 2003 to create and promote artistic discussion, to provide camaraderie and encouragement to the artistic community, to collaborate and to support the visual arts in the South Bay. RBAG has participated in, sponsored and organized many art events in the South Bay (view past events).
The Comedy and Magic Club is hosting a fundraising night for RBAG
on Wednesday, October 9. Invite your friends and family.
6:20 PM - Parking lot opens ($5 cash only)
6:30 PM - Doors open (seating is first come first serve)
Guests must be seated by 7:30 PM or you can lose your reservation
6:30 - 8:00 PM - Dinner will be available
8:00 - 9:30 PM - The Show!
9:45 PM - Guest Departure

1. GUEST REQUIREMENTS - Each person going MUST call The "Comedy & Magic Club”
and make a reservation for the event by calling in their ticket numbers to 310-372-1193.
A ticket without a reservation does not guarantee admission.
This is not a private event. The Comedy & Magic Club will have other guests
sharing the showroom with "you" that evening.
You are encouraged to arrive early and take advantage of their excellent dinner menu.
You will NOT get preferred seating. You will be seated on a first come first serve basis.
All guests must be checked in by no later than 7:30pm,
or they have the right to give up your reservation.
COMEDY AND MAGIC CLUB RULES:
2 Item Minimum will apply for all guests.
We are an 18 and over establishment. A state issued ID will be needed for entry.
Please note that our comedians are subject to change last minute.
We reserve the right to reschedule any and all events at any time.
We reserve the right to change to our Lounge showroom for any reason and at anytime.
All normal rules including no cell phones, talking, texting, distracting from the performance
in any way as deemed by management that evening apply as well.
The tickets are $20, and you can mail a check made out to “RBAG”

Central Los Angeles
Faith in Christ Ministries, a small ministry devoted to serving its neighbors in central LA is looking for some local artists to create a piece for their annual community event. We first met Pastor Joe Browne when he was studying photography at Santa Monica College, at a presentation we made to some of the photo classes there, quite a few years ago. The pastor’s wife, Gwynn Browne, is a creative dynamic woman, who would like to expose her community to more art -- and you can help!
- Artists are invited to contribute a 3D art piece for the church’s annual fundraising dinner will be held September 22, 2013
- Fourteen or more centerpieces are needed, with the theme -- Bridges: Connecting Communities
- Size requirements: max” 12-14” diameter; max height approx 14”, or higher -- if the design does not block the view across the table
Your artwork will be a donation to the church, and will be added to their Silent Auction. Participants will be recognized in the printed programs and in signage at the event. They’ve told me that they will be able to post photos of donated art on their website with your link/contact information.
RBAG has already been involved with FICM -- Patty Grau, Georgette Buckley and I--with art supplies generously provided by Stefani Conniff and Hands On Art--had the pleasure of making valentines with the church’s women’s group last year. Joan Bacon and I made the centerpieces for a previous year’s fundraiser, featuring Joan’s beautiful ornamental brick planters.
